My iCloud drive has been full for a while, so I wonder if my recent files had actually not been backed up, but that still doesn't answer why they have vanished after simply trying to log out. Minecraft saves all save game files in a common folder on your computer. Like anyone, I'm in a bit of a panic as I have a lot of important work that I thought was saved to my cloud. Files are hidden on a Mac for a couple of reasons. View in the Finder: Click the Finder icon in the Dock, click Recents in the Finder sidebar, then choose View > Group By > Date Last Opened. While TinkerTool is a really easy way to alter hidden settings on your Mac. Or you can use the filter tool to search specific notes files. On your Mac, do any of the following: Use Spotlight: Open Spotlight, enter the file’s name in the search field, then double-click the file in the search results. On Mac OS X, your Minecraft games folders or files will be located inside of. Then go to Type>Documents and check the notes files. Mac Users store their files on the desktop as you can access them easily and swiftly. To recover your missing files, you can simply drag them to the new empty desktop folder. Click on Search for lost files button to start the scanning. Also, I can see some files that were originally saved on my desktop, in my 'recent' and I can view/watch/listen to these files fine, but again, I can't see them in their actual desktop sub-folders. Go to Disk Data Recovery, choose the Mac hard drive to recover deleted notes. TinkerTool has the capability to show hidden files (along with other options) on your Mac without you having to use the Terminal application. Nothing in recently deleted, and no files to be restored. When I log onto my iCloud drive on web, I can see the same thing - desktop folder exists but all are empty and various files saved on the desktop. Happily, this is a gemeinde problem the there are multiple roads to restore diese files. There are some files saved directly to the desktop that still exist.
